Signs it may be time
When a new furnace makes more sense than another repair
- The blower, ignition or controls keep failing one after another.
- The heat exchanger or a major part is done and the repair would cost a big share of a new furnace.
- Rooms are uneven and the furnace runs constantly trying to keep up.
- You’re adding central air A new furnace and AC are often planned together because they share the ductwork and the blower.
- It’s an older furnace and parts are hard to get

Furnace Installation & Replacement FAQ
Questions we hear
Can you replace my furnace and air conditioner at the same time?
Yes, we install both. When both are getting older, we may suggest replacing them together, since they share the blower and ductwork. Free estimates cover new equipment installations and replacements.
Can you switch my oil furnace to gas?
Yes. We do oil-to-gas conversions where gas service is available at your home. We’ll go over it during your estimate.
Will my existing ductwork work with a new furnace?
Often it can, but we check it during the estimate visit. If the ducts need changes, we’ll tell you why.
I got a furnace quote from someone else. Can you look at it?
Got a repair or replacement recommendation from another company? Send us the estimate and a few photos by email, phone or Housecall Pro for an initial review. If that isn’t enough, we may recommend an in-person evaluation.
What happens to my old furnace?
We haul it away when the new one is in.
