- How you’ll use it Some people want a phone app and schedules; others just want an easy-to-read screen.

Why have a pro install it?
Thermostat wiring isn’t the same on every system. Boilers, furnaces, heat pumps, central air and multi-zone setups each wire differently, and some smart thermostats need an extra wire for power. We check that the thermostat works with your equipment and that heating and cooling both run correctly after the install. Thermostat wiring connects to your heating equipment’s controls, so we don’t recommend doing it yourself on an oil or gas system.
What happens on install day
- We check how your current thermostat is wired and confirm the new one is right for your equipment.
- We mount the new thermostat and connect it.
- We test heating, and cooling if you have it, to make sure both run correctly.
- We help you get started with the settings and schedules.
Thermostats we supply
We prefer to install the equipment we supply, so your new thermostat comes from us and is installed by us. If a model isn’t the right match for your system, we’ll tell you before we install it.
Already have problems?
If your heat or AC isn’t working right, the thermostat may or may not be the cause. Need an existing system diagnosed or repaired? Schedule an HVAC service appointment with one of our technicians. Any applicable diagnostic fee will be explained before your service appointment is confirmed.
